I thought I’d had a great week this week.  Okay, I wasn’t actually followng any particular diet rigidly.  I hadn’t really given anything up like chocolate, crisps or alcohol, but I did feel that I was eating much healthier  and doing some exercise.

My ‘success’ this week was some what disappointing.  Target weight loss 1kg.  Actual weight loss 0.3kg, or rounded down, a big fat zero.

Let’s look at what happened this week.

  • Positives – two bike rides and one 2 hour walk
  • Negatives – rode bike to the pub, rode bike to the pub, walked to a different pub
  • Positives – had quite a lot of salad
  • Negatives – had 5 halves of lager, two packets of dry roasted peanuts, and a large bar of Cadbury’s whole nut

I think I might have developed some bad habits and so I will try much harder this week!  Do the trousers fit yet?  Not even going there!
